Jason Hart was traded to the Phoenix Suns end of December 2009 for Alando Tucker and cash. The NBA Suns immediately waived Hart. Utah Jazz signed Jason Hart NBA to a multi-year contract.
Jason Hart was born April 29, 1978 in Los Angeles, California. Jason Hart knew from an early age that he wanted to play basketball and started to pursue his dream relentlessly. He played high school basketball and was played NCAA Division-I basketball at Syracuse University along with Minnesota Timberwolves teammate Jonny Flynn. Jason Hart made a name for himself with the Syracuse Orange as a freshman when he became the first freshman in the Big East Conference to lead the conference in minutes played. Before he ended his career at Syracuse he was also named the Syracuse Orange’s all time leader in steals and the second place finisher in assists. As a senior he was named to the All Big East Team.
In the 2000 NBA Draft, Jason Hart was selected in the 2nd round as the 49th overall pick to the Milwaukee Bucks. In the 2000-2001 season Jason Hart was listed as an active member of the Milwaukee Bucks roster but only saw playing time in one game and scored only 2 points for the whole season. Jason Hart was traded for the 2001-2002 season to San Antonio Spurs . Before the start of the 2004-2005 NBA Season, Jason Hart was signed to the Bobcats as a free agent. Jason King also spent time on the rosters of the Sacramento Kings, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Utah Jazz and the Denver Nuggets.
On September 28, 2009 Jason King was signed to the Minnesota Timberwolves roster. Timberwolves Head Coach Kurt Rambis was eager to see what the former teammate of Jonny Flynn could bring to the Minnesota Timberwolves roster. Look for Jason King to pull on a Timberwolves jersey this season!
