Team Member Information
Ramon Sessions was born April 11, 2009 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Ramon Sessions started his competitive basketball career in college at the University of Nevada. The University of Nevada listed Ramon Sessions on the roster for 3 seasons before Ramon Sessions decided to leave for the NBA. Many basketball critics thought Ramon Sessions would retain his NCAA eligibility for his senior year but 2007 NBA Draft Ramon Sessions was the second round pick for Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks sent Ramon Sessions to the NBA Development League to play for the Tulsa 66er’s where he spent the first half of the 2007-2008 NBA Season working on his ball-handling and gaining professional experience. In January 2008, Ramon Sessions was “called up” to the Milwaukee Bucks but due to a wrist injury he did not make his NBA debut until March.
On September 4, 2009 Ramon Sessions signed an offer sheet with the Minnesota Timberwolves for a 4 year $16 million contract supposedly. The Milwaukee Bucks did not counter offer and Ramon Sessions was added to the 2009-2010 Minnesota Timberwolves offer. It was rumored that Ramon Sessions was signed so that he could share the back court with Jonny Flynn after Ricky Rubio failed to leave his Spanish team to play for the Timberwolves.
